We are not your traditional photographers. We specialize in on-location natural light photography capturing candid moments at your choice of location – contemporary photojournalistic style. We are laid back and casual and try not to direct poses. We don’t like to be intrusive or forcing you into any uncomfortable and uncharacteristic poses. We capture personalities with unusual and different creative perspectives allowing for the freedom and independence of being yourself while interacting with the world and your family – sincerity and genuineness in every photo. This genuineness is the base for the fabulous work of art that will bring back memories for generations to come.

 

Your choice of location can mean the comfort of your backyard or it can mean something more rural or urban. Whatever you have in mind. If you don’t have anything in mind, we have several places we can recommend based on your preferences.

 

A deposit of half the session fee is due upon scheduling and can be paid by cash, check or major credit card.

 

Our scheduling times are normally early morning or late afternoon early evening when the sun is not harsh. We also recommend you wear solid colors…nothing distracting like logos, stripes or cartoon characters that date the image and draw attention away from those wonderful expressions. Keep it simple and please do feel comfortable in your own style! If one of your children wants to wear a tutu with cowboy boots…whatever makes her feel comfortable. The more different the better!

 

We shoot 1-3 hours or whatever it takes to get the shots you want with 1-2 photographers depending on session. We attempt to go above and beyond to make your photographs a special moment in your family’s lives and that we will guarantee! If you are not happy with your prints under reasonable circumstances we will replace them free of charge. If you are not happy with your proofs we will schedule another session for no additional fee.

 

Within one week after your session we will post a sneak peek to your gallery on our blog. Within two weeks we will open your gallery for viewing and send you and invite with a password and coupon code for 10% off if purchased in the first month.  You can either buy directly from our proofing site or make arrangements to meet us where we can discuss your needs, answer any questions and we can personally fulfill any requests for our specialty products. If you purchase prints directly from the proofing site turnaround time is normally 3-5 days. If you purchase specialty products the turnaround time is usually 3-4 weeks not including meetings to discuss your needs.

 

Reschedules due to rain or illness are not penalized. Cancellation without rescheduling forfeits your session retainer.

 

In addition to family and children’s portraits, we do maternity and newborn sessions, weddings, seniors and pets. We also do trash the dress sessions for brides and seniors, event photography, and boudoir sessions. If you have something in mind that we haven’t listed send us an email. We are looking for senior representatives so please inquire.
